Terms of service

The terms for using the Draki iOS app, its cloud features and optional, manually configured MCP connections.

Updated 1 October 2026

Using Draki

These terms are between you and Darijan Ducic, operating Draki in San Francisco, California, United States. They cover the public Draki iOS app, its supporting cloud services, optional MCP connections to compatible third-party clients and our website. By using these services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

The initial service is offered to users in the United States. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Give accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so.

Record with permission

Only record, import or share information you have the right to use. Obtain the notices and permissions required by applicable recording, privacy and workplace laws, including permission from every participant where required. Permission to record does not necessarily authorize creating a voice profile or sharing content with an AI provider.

Do not use Draki for unlawful surveillance, harassment, impersonation, unauthorized access, or to collect information about someone without the required authority. Do not circumvent security or misuse another person's account. You remain responsible for how you use recordings and results.

Your content stays yours

You retain your rights in content you provide. You give Draki the limited permission needed to record audio on your iPhone and, with your cloud-processing permission, upload it to Draki and OpenAI for transcription. You give Draki and its service providers the limited permission needed to store and process recordings, text and context to provide transcription, summaries, search and other cloud features, share context through AI connections you authorize, and handle support requests. Audio and voice information are not shared through assistant connections. This does not transfer ownership of your content to us or grant us permission to sell it. The Privacy Policy describes retention and deletion.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Draki for its intended purpose while you comply with these terms. Draki's software and branding remain ours or our licensors'. Applicable open-source licenses continue to govern their components.

Check what AI tells you

Transcripts, summaries, speaker names and answers can be incomplete or wrong. Review results before relying on or sharing them. A suggested person or place is not proof of identity or presence. Draki is not an emergency service or a substitute for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not use its output as the sole basis for consequential decisions about people.

Your connected assistants

Draki currently offers an optional MCP connection that you configure manually in a compatible client. There is no officially listed Draki plugin or connector for ChatGPT or Claude at this time. Support depends on the client's capabilities, your plan and workspace settings; we do not guarantee compatibility with every MCP client or imply endorsement by an AI provider.

Each connection requires authorization to read synced text and context from your Draki account. Access continues until revoked or expired and is not limited to a single conversation. The MCP connection cannot edit or delete your data or export raw recordings, voice samples or voice profiles. Review access before approving it. Revoke a connection in Profile → Connect with your AI and remove its configuration from your client.

Each provider has its own eligibility rules, terms and data practices. You are responsible for meeting them. Revoking a connection stops future access but does not erase copies the provider already received. We do not control those services or guarantee their availability. Your client receives requested context and may send it to its AI provider for cloud processing. The Privacy Policy describes what may be shared.

Availability and changes

Draki is evolving and some features are in beta. New recordings in the public iOS app use cloud transcription through OpenAI after your permission. Recording can work offline, but audio uploads wait for eligible Wi-Fi and transcription requires connectivity. Synced text is processed in the cloud for summaries, search and related features. The public app does not offer voice enrollment or automatic speaker recognition. Optional, manually configured MCP connections share authorized text and context. Device capabilities affect local processing; network access and provider availability affect connected features and account services. Mobile data charges may apply. Keep separate copies of information you cannot afford to lose.

We may change or discontinue features and suspend access to address misuse, security issues or legal requirements. We provide notice where reasonable and required. Any paid offer must disclose its price, billing and cancellation terms before purchase; these terms alone do not authorize a charge. Third-party subscriptions are separate.

Leaving Draki

You can stop using Draki and revoke connections at any time. To request account or content deletion, follow our support instructions. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete cloud information. Required retention and backup exceptions are explained in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature need to survive account closure remain effective.

Our responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent the law permits their exclusion. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes your mandatory consumer rights.

Questions and disagreements

Contact darijanduci@gmail.com so we can try to resolve a problem. California law governs these terms, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Disputes may be brought in the competent state or federal courts in San Francisco, California, unless applicable law gives you the right to another forum. These terms do not require arbitration or waive mandatory consumer protections.

We post changes here and give notice of material changes before they take effect where required. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. You can contact us for help understanding a change or closing your account.
